This is a plot which, although subdivided into three smaller ones, is characterized by their functional unification, since it constitutes a hotel complex. For this reason, all buildings are treated in the same manner.
A contemporary architectural approach was adopted in the design. The volumetric configuration of the buildings, their layout within the site, and their morphological characteristics are adapted to the prevailing local traditional typologies and the surrounding environment. The buildings have a simple geometric form and are constructed of local stone. The façades are articulated into distinct segments that approximate the grid and dimensions of traditional models, avoiding the creation of a single, continuous façade length. The segmented building volumes are differentiated in height and in plan. In addition, the separation of the volumes is reinforced through the use of differing materials on the façades, combining local stone with selected exterior surfaces finished in plaster and subsequently painted with white water-based paint.
Along with each building, its associated outdoor space is also designed with the aim of achieving a functional extension of the interior. Due to the touristic use for these three plots, swimming pools are proposed for all buildings. All buildings are designed in such a way as to enjoy views toward the sea, with southeast orientation.
Finally, the proposal places particular emphasis on landscaping, as the surrounding areas of the three plots will be planted with local plants and trees.
