This is a plot on which four two-storey villa–bungalows are designed, to operate as a 5-star hotel, featuring swimming pools on the ground floors and jacuzzis on the upper floors.
Access to the plot is from its northeastern side (the main entrance), which also constitutes the rear side of the site. Internal roads are formed around the buildings and between pairs of villas, while a central building with shared facilities is also provided; this building is more independent and is located on the western side of the plot.
A contemporary architectural approach has been adopted. The volumetric configuration of the buildings, their arrangement within the site, and their morphological characteristics are adapted to prevailing local traditional typologies and to the surrounding natural environment. The buildings have a simple geometric form and are constructed of local stone. The façades are articulated into distinct sections that approximate the grid and dimensions of traditional models, avoiding the creation of a single, continuous façade length.
Furthermore, the separation of the volumes is also achieved through the use of different materials on the façades: the majority of the ground floors, are clad in stone, while some exterior surfaces are finished with plaster and subsequently painted with white water-based paint in accordance with local standards; there are also areas with troweled plaster finishes. Along with each building, its associated outdoor space is also designed with the aim of functional extension. Each villa has its own designated parking space.
Due to the touristic use intended for the project, swimming pools are proposed both at the central building and at the villa–bungalows. Small wooden pergolas are provided only at the ground-floor level. All buildings are designed so as to enjoy views toward the sea, with northeastern orientation.
